Without the services of veterans Rick Helling and Dan Kolb because of elbow injuries, the Brewers have found themselves shorthanded in the bullpen over the past several days. Helling’s sprained elbow forced him to the disabled list when ace Ben Sheets made his debut on Sunday and Kolb will miss at least a few more days despite receiving good news from an MRI that showed no structural damage. As a result, the team recalled right-handers Mike Adams and Chris Demaria from Nashville on Tuesday in hopes of bolstering their depleted relief corps.
