After fighting and clawing their way to a series win at Shea Stadium against the stunned Mets, the suddenly more-than-luke-warm Brewers have a chance to climb on top of .500 as they take on the Phillies for three games at Citizens Bank Park. The Brewers have won six of their last ten and are 12-9 since the All-Star Break, enough to climb within five-and-a-half of the Wild Card-leading Astros.

Philadelphia has also been playing well, winning two of three from both the Cubs and Rockies over the last week after suffering a sweep at the hands of Houston. They sit six games behind the NL East leading Braves but in third place in the Wild Card race, two-and-a-half behind the Astros and one-and-a-half back of the Nationals.

The Brewers bested the Phils two games to one at Miller Park in May but were swept in a June series at Citizens Bank Park. They enter Friday’s contest with an eight-game losing streak in the City of Brotherly Love and have yet to win a game in the Phils’ new park.
