The Brewers’ reward for winning nine of twelve games on their recent homestand? A ten-games-in-ten-day road trip to Pittsburgh, Washington, and Minnesota, a journey that spans 1,875 miles.
First on the agenda is the Pirates, a team that has given the Brewers fits at home since PNC Park opened in 2001 but whom the Crew has beaten in four of five contests already this season. After spending much of the first month of the season in last place, the Bucs are 7-3 over their last ten games and have climbed into a tie for third with the Cubs, just two games back of Milwaukee. They are just 3-9 at home, however, and have scored a National League-worst 127 runs while allowing 154.
