After enduring a disappointing road trip in which they managed just a 3-5 record, the Brewers find themselves back in the National League Central Division cellar as they open a 12-game homestand at Miller Park. First on the agenda are the Reds, who despite having allowed 16 runs more than they have scored (93 to 109) are sitting pretty in third place behind the runaway Cardinals and the injury-riddled Cubs. This weekend’s three-game series is Spring Madness, an annual promotion at Miller Park that allows fans to purchase any $20 or cheaper ticket for half-price as well as small sodas and hot dogs for only $1. With big crowds expected, the Brewers are hoping to get back on track against a division rival and climb back out of last place.
