“I feel like I found something, I hope,” Cardinals third-baseman Scott Rolen said after Saturday’s game. “I felt like I was seeing the ball a little better and I felt like I could duplicate what I’m doing tomorrow.”1
He was right.
After limping through his first eight games of the season, Rolen exploded for three hits and a home run on Saturday and notched another three hits on Sunday including his second longball, the decisive blow in St. Louis’ 3-2 win.
