There are two ways to look at Wednesday’s game.

The pessimist might say that Chris Capuano did all he could to allow Pirates to score early and often, but apparently the Bucs weren’t interested.

The optimist, on the other hand, might argue that Capuano overcame sub-standard stuff and erratic command to hold the Pirates offense in check.

The truth, as usual, probably lies somewhere in between.
