The Brewers allowed a total of eleven runs against the defending National League Champion Cardinals during this past weekend’s three-game tilt, but they scored just five en route to a disappointing sweep in front of the home fans at Miller Park. Things won’t get any easier this week as the Brewers play a quick two-game series against the NL West Champion Dodgers, the team with baseball’s best record. Los Angeles is fresh off consecutive sweeps of the rival Giants and Padres and has scored an NL-best 73 runs. In other words, the Brewers will have their work cut out for them.
