In 69 games with Indianapolis, the 22-year old batted .276 with a .332 on-base average, .416 slugging average, and ten steals in 18 attempts. The Ohio-native spent 2003 at Double-A Huntsville and fell apart in the second half, finishing with a 714 OPS and a 119-60 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He got a head start on his September cup of coffee thanks to the trade of Ben Grieve and is 1-for-11 with six strikeouts in three games. He will get an opportunity to start at least a handful of times each week in both center and right, a position he is working on with Brewers' coach Davey Nelson.</p>
