    <p>That's something that certainly applies to the Brewers' hangdog offense, a squad that is finally starting to break out of their months-long collective slump.  In a three-game series with the visiting Reds, Milwaukee tallied 20 runs and held Cincinnati to 16, a sure prescription for a series win.  Thanks to some fine slugging and decent pitching, the Crew took the first two games to record their first series win since they bested the Pirates 2-to-1 in late July and early August.</p>
