Over the first two months of the season, the Brewers established a reputation for come-from-behind victories, a product of their never-say-die attitude, optimistic manager, and collection of gritty players that scrapped their way to success. Needless to say, the team’s recent play has erased that image and lately it has been Brewers’ opponents that have found themselves on the winning end of heroic comebacks. That was certainly true on Friday night. Despite a stellar start from ace Ben Sheets and some fine hitting from their anemic offense, the Crew lost a heartbreaker to the Florida Marlins, 7-6.
