Matt Clement just can’t catch a break. For the second time in less than two weeks, the Cubs’ sinkerballer pitched an outstanding game against the Brewers only to be saddled with the loss. This time, the 29-year old free-agent-to-be was beaten by a little league play gone wild that left everyone scratching their heads in bewilderment. The Brewers weren’t complaining, however, as they evened the series at a game apiece with a hard-fought 3-2 win.
