After a three-game sweep of the Cubs, the Brewers were primed to record another winning homestand to cap off the first half of their 2004 season.
Mission accomplished. Sort of.
While the club did secure a winning homestand, they were defeated three games to one by the pesky Reds and limped into the All-Star Break slightly disappointed.
