The Brewers just finished off a series win over the struggling Dodgers. Ben Sheets pitched brilliantly (as is becoming the norm) and Brooks Kieschnick combined with Dan Kolb to slam the door. Scott Podsednik is hopefully breaking out of his slump, today accumulating two hits in four tries including a big eighth-inning homer. Jeff Weaver was the hard luck loser, but I won’t feel too bad for him.

The win gets the Crew to three games above .500 for the first time since early in the 2001 season. Bring on the Peavey-less Padres!!!
